What You'll Find in This Portfolio

Every project in this portfolio belongs to a real business or non-profit. Most are small local companies, including three therapy and counseling practices, a barbershop, a private chef, a wedding officiant and a kids' play café. So if you run a local business, you will probably spot a project close to your own.

The filters above sort the work by service, so you can jump straight to website design, search engine optimization, social media, print, logos or content. When you're on a desktop, click any card to scroll a live preview of the site. You can also see which print pieces we made, then visit the site yourself.

How Each Portfolio Project Comes Together

We start every project with one question: what does this business need its website to do? For example, a counseling practice usually wants more first appointments. A party venue, however, wants event bookings, while a non-profit may care most about reaching the people it serves.

Once the goal is clear, we plan the pages to serve it, and we design the brand too when a client needs one. Then we write the copy and set up the SEO with that same goal in mind, so the right visitors find the site and know what to do next. When a client also needs print, we carry the same look onto business cards, banners, menus and brochures.

That is also why the descriptions above focus on what each project set out to do. After all, a beautiful homepage only matters if it helps the business get calls, bookings or donations.

How to Judge Any Agency's Portfolio

Whether you hire us or another team, a portfolio should prove more than good taste. First, open a few of the live sites on your phone, because many customers will meet your business on a small screen. In fact, Google uses the mobile version of a site's content for indexing and ranking.

Then test a site with Google's free PageSpeed Insights tool to see how quickly it loads. Finally, ask the agency what each project was meant to achieve. If they can explain the goal and how the site supports it, you are talking to people who think about your business, not just its design.
